Booking terms & conditions

Capacity/Agency

In addition to acting as a hotelier in respect of sites it owns or operates on its own behalf, Snoozebox Ltd acts as a booking agent for certain selected venues (e.g. theme parks or concert venues) which use units supplied by Snoozebox Ltd (“Third Party Venues”). If you have entered this system through a Third Party Venue’s dedicated reservations link or phone line on the Third Party Venue’s website, we will be acting as booking agent and your booking will be direct with the Third Party Venue.

Where you are booking through Snoozebox Ltd as agent, the information collected is collected for the Third Party Venue and Snoozebox Ltd and you are consenting to the use of information which is not sensitive personal data by both them and us in accordance with the policies contained herein and for those purposes, “we” shall mean the Third Party Venue and Snoozebox Ltd.

Third Party Venues will have their own terms in relation to the occupation of and/or use of their Venues and you should note that these will apply to your reservation with them.

Privacy

This privacy policy paragraph sets out how Snoozebox Ltd uses and protects any information that you give Snoozebox Ltd when you use this website.

Snoozebox Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website; you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Snoozebox Ltd may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 01st November 2012.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons

Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Snoozebox Ltd and/or the Third Party Venue takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Making a booking

By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions. When your booking has been made a confirmation will be sent to you by email using the email address that you have supplied, or by post. Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation at the hotel (and/or other Third Party Venues’ facilities as the case may be). You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. You must contact Snoozebox Ltd if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete. We cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not brought to our attention within seven days of issuing your confirmation, nor can we accept responsibility for inaccurate information that you have supplied.

Paying for your booking

All reservations must be prepaid with a credit card. The amount of payment required at the time of booking will be advised to you when making your booking.

Price changes

Snoozebox Ltd reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold rooms at any time (if you are booking with a Third Party Venue then this will be at their discretrion). The price of your room will be confirmed when your booking is made and, with the exception of any errors, we will not increase this price once it has been confirmed. We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error. We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your booking should they arise, but we strongly advise you to check that the final price of your booking is correct before making your final confirmation.

Amendments to your booking

You should notify us of any amendments to your confirmed booking by telephone or in writing as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and those made within the 3 day cancellation period (see below) may be subject to cancellation charges.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations must be made by 9:00 GMT, three days prior to scheduled arrival to avoid a penalty of one night’s room charge. Special Events identified as such at the time of booking, such as the Silverstone Formula 1 British Grand Prix and Goodwood events, are non-refundable. Bookings with Third Party Venues are subject to other conditions which are recorded per location on the booking site.

Additional Requests

All additional or special requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the provision for special requests. Any additional requests made should be prior to your arrival at the hotel, giving reasonable advance notice.

Circumstances beyond our control

We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster, or injuries and death of an individual(s) through accidental circumstances unconnected with Snoozebox Ltd.

By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to Snoozebox Ltd or the Third Party Venue on demand. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your action.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay you should bring the problem or issue to the attention of the Manager at the hotel as soon as possible so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation.

If, for any reason, the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction and you wish to make a complaint please email bookings@snoozebox.com or write to Reservations, Snoozebox Ltd, Abbey House, Wellington Way, Weybridge, KT13 0TT. If your stay was with a Third Party Venue then you should contact the relevant Venue directly and any complaints received by Snoozebox Ltd will be passed on to the relevant Venue.

General Information

Checking-in: Your room(s) will normally be available after 2pm. Check out is at 10am. These times may vary depending upon the site and/or event. We will inform you at the time of confirming your booking if that is the case.

Insurance -It is your responsibility to ensure that any insurance cover you have provides adequate cover for your needs and for the duration of your stay.

Snoozebox Ltd only accepts liability for Snoozebox Ltd services booked via the Snoozebox Ltd website in accordance with the Booking Terms and Conditions current at the time of booking and all other forms of liability are excluded. Where we are acting as booking agent for a Third Party Venue, Snoozebox Ltd does not accept any form of liability in connection thereto.
